Do I need any sewing experience to join your workshops?

Nope, you don't need any sewing experience to join! All our workshops are beginner-friendly. I suggest starting with the Basic 101 class, where you'll learn about threads, needles, essential sewing tips, and how to use your sewing machine.

Do I need a sewing machine to take your workshops?

No, I have machines you can borrow if you need one. Just let me know before class. 
I do go over my top sewing machine picks in the Basic 101 class before buying a machine.

What materials do I need to bring to a workshop?

For most workshops, I provide all the necessary materials. If there are any specific materials you need to bring, I'll let you know in advance. Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity!

Do you do alterations?

Accepted Answer

No, I don't do alterations. Alterations is a completely different skill set of sewing.

Can kids take sewing lessons with you?

Absolutely! I offer private sewing lessons for kids. The youngest student I've taught was 9 years old. Contact me for more details on our "Sewing with Kids" program.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

There are no refunds, but I understand that things beyond our control happen. If you need to cancel, we will reschedule the lesson for a different day and time that works for you at no extra charge.
