I explain how I became a crazy quilter, starting with costumes, graphic design, and other creative outlets to help me find my unique style, to fabric play. I also explain how I choose what fabrics go together and encourage others to create, think outside the box, be expressive, and have fun!
Through Sickness and Health
Sewing through the toughest of times
Sewing has healing powers. I'll share my journey, first getting a back injury and then long COVID that affected every aspect of my life. Also, how sewing became a lifeline and motivation to create and do what I could one day at a time. I learned to appreciate the small steps in my progress and that it was ok to slow down and enjoy the sewing journey, which helped me pull through.
