Sewing Basics 101

If you've never used a sewing machine or are getting back into sewing after a long break, this workshop is perfect! In this session, you will learn the basics, including how to maintain your machine, identify essential sewing tools, wind your bobbin, thread your machine, understand the straight stitch, and make your first seam. Additionally, there will be a one-hour lecture covering the top three sewing rules, different types of needles, fabrics, interfacing, computerized versus mechanical machines, and how not to break the bank.
